Quintus Scholars welcomes students from around the world. Those requiring a visa to attend our Summer Schools are advised to begin the application process promptly.

While students are responsible for securing their own visas, our team is pleased to offer guidance and documentation in support of your application. Visa regulations vary by country, and we strongly recommend consulting your respective official government website for the most current requirements.

Please review our Terms and Conditions of Enrolment carefully, as they include important information regarding visa refusals, entry regulations, and related policies.

VISA Information

For all of our US courses, if your nationality falls under the following countries we recommend you apply for an ESTA. If your nationality does not fall under the following countries, you will need to apply for a Visitor Visa. More details on this type of VISA can be found here. This type of VISA gives permission to attend a short course at Quintus Scholars. 

For the US VISA, fill in the online form as follows:

  • For “What country/authority or area issued your passport?” select the country of your passport
  • For “Why are you traveling to the U.S.?” select “Study or Exchange”
  • For “What will you be doing in the U.S.?” select “I will take a short not-for-credit course or a recreational program.”

For all of our UK courses, we recommend you apply for a Standard Visitor VISA – if you need a VISA. This type of VISA gives permission to attend a short course at Quintus Scholars. More details on this type of VISA are here. 

For the UK VISA, fill in the online form as follows:

  • For nationality: select your nationality
  • For “what are you coming to the UK to do?” select study
  • For “How long are you planning to study in the UK for?” select 6 months or less

General Information

Quintus Scholars provides a Visa Support Letter for students who need to apply for a VISA. This supports the process of VISA application. Upon successfully applying to our programme you can request a Visa Support Letter, this will aid your VISA application process. 

We are not permitted to apply for or process VISAs. It is your responsibility to make sure that you apply for all travel documentation your son or daughter might need (such as VISAs). Of course, we are very happy to support you throughout the process and have ways to do so.

 

The earliest you can apply is 3 months before you travel. We strongly recommended you apply 3 months (90 days) before your flight to avoid delays in VISA processing. When you apply for a VISA, it is important to let us know. This means we can provide a Letter of Acceptance, which you will need. This will be emailed to you. Our Letter of Acceptance will have our contact details should the embassy or high commission need to confirm student registration

Quintus Scholars provides students with a letter of parental consent template. A completed copy of this letter should be carried by all students aged under 18 who are travelling independently to their summer school location, and whose journey involves crossing an international border. The student’s parent or legal guardian should sign this letter to confirm they authorise the student to travel  on their own.
