Quintus Scholars Aerospace Engineering Challenges

The Pioneers of Tomorrow Scholarship Competition is your chance to dream boldly, tackle global challenges, and showcase your ideas on a world stage. Open to ambitious students aged from 13 to 18, this competition celebrates originality, teamwork, and vision.

Whether you enter solo or as part of a team of up to four pioneers, you’ll identify a pressing challenge, explain why it matters, and propose a solution with real impact. Winners receive prestigious scholarships to Quintus Scholars’ transformative summer programmes; where innovation, leadership, and academic excellence meet.

  • Pioneer’s Laureate – full (100%) scholarship.
  • Pioneer’s Distinction – partial scholarships of up to 75%.
  • Honourable Pioneers – recognition awards, partial scholarships of up to 50% and access to enrichment opportunities.

How to Enter

  1. Form your team: work solo or with up to 4 peers (maximum team size: 4).
  2. Choose your category: from our STEM and Humanities pathways.
  3. Craft your submission: requiring both formats:
    • Written Proposal (500 to 700 words): a structured essay presenting your challenge, solution, and practical impact.
    • Video Pitch (5 to 7 minutes): a creative, pitch-style presentation of your idea.

What your submission should include:

  • Define the challenge: What problem, issue, or gap are you addressing?
  • Show why it matters: Who is affected, and why is it important to act?
  • Present your solution: What is your idea, and how does it tackle the problem pragmatically?
  • Highlight the impact: What difference will it make, and why does it matter for the future?
  • Showcase originality & teamwork: Creativity, collaboration, and clarity will make your entry stand out.
